AAA in Top 10 mid-cap listed companies with Outstanding Annual Report 2020

On December 4, 2020, the 13th Vietnam Listed Company Awards took place at Vinpearl Phu Quoc. Accordingly, An Phat Bioplastics JSC (Ticker symbol: AAA) was honored to receive the award “Top 10 mid-cap listed companies with outstanding annual report 2020.”

This year’s award took place in a special context that Vietnamese businesses were significantly affected by the global Covid-19 pandemic. International organizations also assess that Vietnam is among the five countries severely affected by climate change. However, in such circumstances, many businesses, including AAA, continue to maintain production, business activities and stable growth.

Moreover, when sustainable development is placed at the center of the economic development of many countries, it requires businesses to raise their awareness of environmental protection and operate according to the development trend of the world, the organization committee has added this criterion to evaluate businesses. Therefore, only 50% of listed companies have been present from previous years including AAA has met the criteria of having environmental protection policies and practices associated with business activities.

In fact, for years, AAA has diversified its production as well as focus on research and development of compostable products such as eco-friendly bags, knives, spoons, forks, agricultural membranes, fishing nets from compostable materials also offer green solutions to the agriculture-fishery sector. The products also achieved rigorous international certifications for decomposition and are now exported to more than 20 countries.

As a result, after two rounds of preliminary and final judging, the Organizing Committee and the Board of Voting for the Vietnam Listed Companies Awards 2020 decided to select 40 listed companies to be honored across 3 categories: Outstanding annual reports, sustainability reporting awards and corporate governance awards.

Previously, An Phat Bioplastics awarded Top 30 Vietnam’s fastest growing enterprises in 2020, Top 50 Best Performing Companies, Outstanding Progress Report 2019, National Quality Award 2018, and Third-class Labor Medal 2018, etc.
